- Node + Express + better-sqlite3, server-rendered pages with a little vanilla JS,
no build step.
- A deal has a name, vendor URL, category (cloud / SaaS / ads / grant / accelerator),
amount or percent, expiry date, eligibility notes, tags, and a verified checkbox
with a last-checked date.
- List view with search, category and expiry filters, and an expiring-in-30-days
section pinned to the top; a detail panel per deal.
- Deals load from a deals.json file I maintain by hand, and edits in the UI write
back to SQLite; export the whole catalog as JSON or CSV.
- Binds to localhost only. No accounts, no telemetry.
- Out of scope: scraping vendor pages, and anything that marks a deal live without
me checking it · the verification labor is the part you are not replacing.
