From a photo to an animated ad all from Claude Code

Give Claude a photo of the product, and it creates the product in Marketing Studio and generates a Hyper Motion video. No code.

What you get

You start from a still photo of your product and end up with an animated ad in cinematic-commercial style — water splashes, macro shots, campaign-grade lighting — without opening a video editor and without writing a line of code. You ask Claude Code, and it does it by going through Higgsfield.

Below is the real result: on the left, the starting photo (Raw); on the right, the generated video (Claude Code). Same product, one touch and it becomes an ad.

Raw vs Claude Code: from the still photo of the gin to the animated Hyper Motion ad, 100% generated by the workflow.

All you need is Higgsfield connected

The only prerequisite is having Higgsfield connected to Claude Code. It's a setup you do once and then forget about. Two things: first the account, then the connection.

1. Create your Higgsfield account

Go to higgsfield.ai and sign up: the account is free, and new sign-ups get free credits for their first tries. Higgsfield runs on credits — every video uses some — so with the free ones you can already make your first ad without paying anything.

To generate consistently (the free credits run out fast) you need a plan. The three main ones:

  • Starter — $15/month 200 credits/month, to try it out and make your first ads.
  • Plus — $39/month 1,000 credits/month, the right tier for steady use.
  • Ultra — $99/month 3,000 credits/month, for heavy generation, including long videos and 4K.

There are also Team and Enterprise plans for companies. Heads up: monthly credits don't roll over, they reset at renewal. Prices and credits are always kept up to date on the official pricing page.

2. Connect Higgsfield to Claude Code

The fastest way (3 seconds): paste this command into the Claude Code terminal. Access goes through the browser (Higgsfield login), no API keys to copy.

FROM THE TERMINAL — ONE TIME ONLY
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user higgsfield https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp

Prefer buttons? Alternatively, from Claude's guided setup — Settings → Connectors:

  1. 1 Open Settings → Connectors and choose "Add custom connector."
  2. 2 Name it Higgsfield and paste the server URL below.
  3. 3 Press "Connect": the Higgsfield login opens in the browser (OAuth). Log in and approve.
  4. 4 Set permissions to "Always allow," so you don’t have to confirm on every generation.

Done: from now on Claude can use Higgsfield on its own. If you want all the details (plans, models, notes on credits and timing), there's the full guide Higgsfield in Claude Code. For the rest, all you need is two messages, below.

Step 1 — Give it the product photo

Before animating anything, Higgsfield needs to know what the product is. This is called creating the product in Marketing Studio: in practice you register the photo as "the product to advertise," so every video after that starts from there.

All you have to do is give the photo to Claude and ask it to create the product from it. To give it to Claude, you have two options, depending on where you're using it:

  • In the Claude app (desktop or web): drag the photo into the chat, like you would with an attachment.
  • In Claude Code from the terminal: write the file path on your computer (e.g., ~/Desktop/product.png) and Claude picks it up from there.

Then you ask it to create the product. The message can be this one.

MESSAGE TO CLAUDE — STEP 1
I have a photo of my product. Create the product in Higgsfield's Marketing Studio starting from this photo and name it "Tesla Gin".

Claude uploads the photo to Higgsfield and creates the product. If you want, add a line of description (what it is, what character it has): it helps the model pick the right style for the animation. In our example the product is an "electric" gin, and you can see that in the video.

Step 2 — Ask for the Hyper Motion video

Hyper Motion is one of Marketing Studio's presets: it's the one built for "product motion bursts," the high-energy videos where the product is the star amid splashes, particles, and fast movement. It's what gives the ad its punch. You name it, Claude handles the rest.

MESSAGE TO CLAUDE — STEP 2
With the Tesla Gin product we just created, generate an ad using the Hyper Motion preset in Marketing Studio: vertical video, about 8 seconds, with audio. Show me the result.

You don't need to write the script: give it the preset and a few pointers (vertical format for TikTok and Reels, duration, audio yes or no), and Higgsfield expands your request on its own into a multi-cut edit — shots, camera moves, lighting. Then it renders the video and Claude brings it back to you in the chat.

Step 3 — Download and publish

When the video is ready, you download it and use it wherever you want: a Reel, a TikTok, an ad, a product page. It's already vertical, so it's ready for social with no cropping.

If it doesn't convince you on the first try, you don't start from scratch: ask Claude for a variant — "make it slower," "darker," "change the final shot" — and regenerate. The Raw vs Claude Code comparison you saw above is exactly this: the starting photo side by side with the final video, edited together to show the leap.

What to expect (and how to get it right)

  • The starting photo matters: use a sharp shot, with the product clearly visible and the label legible. The cleaner the photo, the more the video respects it.
  • Every video uses Higgsfield credits, based on duration and resolution. Keep an eye on them before generating lots of variants in a row.
  • The video isn't instant: the model renders and Claude waits until it's ready. A few minutes is normal, more for heavier formats.
  • You have the final say: describe the tone you want (elegant, energetic, minimal) and refine with a variant instead of settling for the first result.

That's the beauty of it: one photo and two messages. No editing software, no film crew, no code — just Claude Code orchestrating Higgsfield for you.
