Can I vibecode PosteAhora?
// buildable in a weekend, but real gaps stay open
The core loop, compose into a queue, tick a cron, publish, log the result, is one-shottable for the open networks like Bluesky, Mastodon and a Telegram channel. What you cannot one-shot is the reason PosteAhora exists: one-click posting to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn. Those APIs sit behind Meta App Review, TikTok's Content Posting API, YouTube quota and business verification, gates an individual often cannot even qualify for. On top of that sit per-platform media handling (Instagram carousels, TikTok photo vs video, small-Reel framing, X's 280-vs-25k length math), constant token-refresh babysitting as tokens expire and policies drift, and a hosted API plus MCP server so a coding agent can post for you. You can vibecode a personal cross-poster for the open networks in a sitting. You cannot vibecode the approvals.

They cancel out. This is where it comes down to how much the subscription annoys you.
Gioco editoriale: il verdetto dice se un agente può, l’indice se conviene.
// free tier: No free plan. You can connect up to two accounts to look around, but publishing needs a paid subscription, and every plan starts with a 3-day trial that takes a card.
What you build
Compose posts into a slot-based queue, publish on schedule to open-API networks through per-network adapters, and log outcomes, with a push-to-post-by-hand fallback for the approval-gated platforms.
what you need
- OAuth/API access per social network
- always-on box for the scheduler
- database
- media storage
Same shape as Post Bridge: the open-API core is a sitting, the big-platform set is the moat · approvals and integration upkeep, not code · plus an API and MCP server so your agent posts for you.
The prompt
A weekend with a coding agent. The gaps that stay are right below, under “what you lose”.
Build me a personal social post scheduler to replace PosteAhora. Requirements:
- Node + Express + better-sqlite3; a localhost page with a compose box,
image/video attach, and the queue ordered by send time.
- Targets with open APIs only: Bluesky (app password via @atproto/api),
Mastodon (access token), and a Telegram channel (bot token). Creds in
.env, one small adapter file per network so a fourth is addable later.
- For the approval-gated platforms people actually want (Instagram, TikTok,
YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn), do NOT fight their APIs: at post
time send me an ntfy.sh push with the caption and media path so I post by
hand in a minute. Say clearly in the README that these need approved
developer apps and business verification you cannot one-shot.
- Slot-based queue: I define posting times per weekday in my timezone and
new posts fill the next free slot; a post can also be pinned to an exact
datetime or duplicated across networks with per-network text and counts.
- A node-cron tick every minute publishes due posts, marks each row sent or
failed, retries failures 3 times with backoff, and marks before sending so
nothing double-posts.
- Per-network character counter in the composer (X counts URLs as 23 and
most emoji as 2); attached media stored in media/ next to the database,
images resized per network with sharp.
- A history page of the last 100 sent posts linking to the live posts.
- Runs on my always-on box; localhost only, no accounts, no telemetry.
- Out of scope: cross-network analytics, teams and approvals, and
per-platform video transcoding.
- README: getting a Bluesky app password, a Mastodon token and a Telegram
bot token, plus an honest note that social APIs drift and this needs
occasional patching. Curated prompt: written and reviewed by hand for this app. In English on purpose — it is the language coding agents work best in.
What you lose
- one-click connect to approval-gated platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn)
- pre-approved platform OAuth apps you often cannot obtain as an individual
- per-platform media handling and token-refresh babysitting as APIs and policies change
- cross-network analytics, an ideas kanban, workspaces and team roles
- the hosted API and MCP server that lets a coding agent post for you
Why people still pay
The hosted product ships with OAuth apps that Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn have already put through business verification and app review, so connecting Instagram or TikTok is a click instead of the multi-week developer-app process you may not qualify for solo. It also absorbs constant API and policy churn, per-platform media quirks and token expiry, and exposes an API plus MCP server so your coding agent can schedule through it rather than you rebuilding and babysitting the poster yourself.
moat: Integrations Execution quality what a moat is
platform-approved OAuth apps + endless per-network integration upkeep
